We believe very strongly that every one of Incognito Artists’ performances has the opportunity to touch, move and inspire in unimaginable ways. That is the power of performance and that is the power of what we do.

We are all about breaking the fourth wall and tearing down the barriers between audience and performer. Over time, experiencing musical performances has proven to elevate moods, lift spirits and evoke emotion. An article by Greater Good Magazine entitled How Music Bonds Us Together, explores this idea further:

Music has also been linked to dopamine release, involved in regulating mood and craving behaviour, which seems to predict music’s ability to bring us pleasure. Coupled with the effects on endorphins, music seems to make us feel good and connect with others, perhaps particularly when we make music ourselves.’

A huge part of what we do is reliant on our audiences. A performance without an audience can be one-dimensional and without you, the notion that every performance is different would cease to exist. Audiences have as much of an impact on our performers so to be able to create this magnetic synergy in any room feels sensational. For example, our singing waiters act is a sure-fire hit at any event. From the moment our performers enter the space, they are in character and focused. The wonderful thing about our extremely popular act is that it offers the entertainment and the experience. First comes the laughter and then comes the shock, followed swiftly by the surprise, and segueing into the impressive, phenomenal vocal performances that will leave you in awe of what is happening in front of you! This act really can deliver it all. With 18 years experience cultivating and developing our flagship act – we were the original singing waiters in the UK – we are able to offer a wide selection of scenarios and characters which means that many of our clients book us repeatedly for their events.

American singer and poet, Maya Angelou once said: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

We remember most strongly the events that evoke in us powerful emotions. We can recall the moments where the goosebumps shot up our arms and the point in which our jaws dropped to the floor, in awe of what we were experiencing.
