Kindness is Contagious

Wanna know something else that’s highly contagious?
Kindness.
Studies show that random acts of kindness, cause others to pass that kindness on.
That is, when you are kind to someone, that person will be kind or kinder to another person because of how you made them feel…and so on, and so on.
It’s fascinating that we’re all acting so surprised when businesses and communities are coming together to support one another during this time.
We’re so used to the news reporting negativity, we think it’s natural for human beings to be hateful, disregarding, callous and selfish.
But human kindness is innate. It’s there in every one of us but can be obscured by fearful thoughts that we’re on our own.
‘Every (wo)man for himself’ is an imagined virus that causes us temporary blindness from who we truly are and what we’re capable of. And causes us to make selfish actions.
We are all powerful beyond belief. And staying connected – in this together – is how we’ll get through this quicker.
We all have those stories where we’ve been kind recently, or witnessed kindness.
Let’s share those. Let’s create a pandemic of kindness.
And watch the world be transformed for the greater good.
What kind act have you experienced or deliver to/for someone recently?
