oh captain, my captain
This week has now taken on a different hue with the news that the Legend, Robin Williams, is dead. I know we love that word ‘legend’ here at Incognito Artists and use it profusely but never was it more true when speaking about this comic genius, who touched all our lives in a most profound, gentle and hilarious way.
His movies made up a tapestry to showcase his unbelievable talent but one of our favourite movies of all time is Dead Poet’s Society.
Seize the day… CARPE DIEM… became a mantra to live by. For millions of us.
So let’s be kind to each other. Let’s show empathy.
All of us are just doing our best in this kaleidoscope of life. Robin William’s best will go down in history, loved by most of us on the planet and future generations to come. Our hearts go out to his family, who knew the whole story and loved him unconditionally.
Our US Incognito team had the privilege of singing to the guy at a party in LA. I remember them buzzing, saying that being in the same room as him was unbelievable! Around the world people are recounting similar stories of his extraordinary presence and ability.
Gather ye rosebuds while ye may
Old Time is still a-flying
And this same flower that smiles today
Tomorrow will be dying
